Interested? Then here is all you need to know about Bootstrap 4 UI kits and WrapKit in particular.

WrapKit – What is it?

WrapKit is a UI (user interface)kit for web developers based on the well-known Bootstrap CSS framework. For those of you who may be new to the industry, Bootstrap is an open source front-end development framework. Originally built to serve the internal development teams at Twitter, Bootstrap is now available to all web developers and has a thriving community behind it.

But what is a UI kit? It is a set of resources which can be combined to create one-of-a-kind, industry-specific websites, landing pages, one-page sites or portfolios to serve a multitude of purposes. In short, if your client needs a website or webpage to suit any purpose whatsoever, you can build it for them using WrapKit.

You can break WrapKit down into three sets of resources: elements, sections and demos. The next section will detail exactly what is meant by these terms:

Introducing WrapKit Demos, Sections and Elements

We will start by explaining demos because this is something that you will probably already have experience with as a web developer. Basically, a demo is an ‘out-of-the-box’ webpage that can be quickly customized and delivered to your client. The benefits are in terms of turnaround time and cost (less than $30 per application or less than $70 for unlimited applications at the time of writing). WrapKit includes dozens of pre-made demos but they are not for everyone. Since they can be downloaded and purchased ‘off-the-shelf’ (and we have had over 100,000 downloads at the time of writing), there are going to be many webpages out there that are very similar to the one you create. This may be fine for basic projects, but not so good if you want to build something totally unique. This is where sections and elements come in.

Demos are built from Sections and WrapKit contains hundreds of standalone sections from which you can construct your own webpages. Choose from dozens  of headers, footers, banners, sliders, popups, feature modals, testimonials and many more sections. These are all fully customizable with W3C compliant and SEO-friendly code.

By combining sections, the number of possible webpage designs increases exponentially but what if you want to go down to an even more fundamental level. That’s where elements come in.

Elements are the basic building blocks of a WrapKit product, There are hundreds to choose from, including navigation breadcrumbs, buttons, cards, carousels, counters, fonts, drop-downs, overlays, modals, tables, videos, forms, grids, timelines, tooltips, popovers, accordions, tabs, progress bars – the list goes on. In fact, WrapKit includes popular icon sets such as IconMind and Font Awesome which alone are worth nearly $70! This gives developers the flexibility to customize a website to the most exacting demands (their own or their client’s) without needing to code from scratch or hunting through multiple libraries. WrapKit Pro also includes Animate CSS, a way to add engaging animations using only CSS code!

What other benefits does WrapKit offer developers and their clients?

Reduced turnover time, cost-efficiency and flexibility are perhaps the most powerful benefits that WrapKit from Wrappixel can offer but the benefits don’t stop there.

For developers who want to create a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business using a WrapKit-built website, we offer an extended use license. For under $400 you can begin making money immediately from a single app, website or CMS for which the end user can be charged. You can also create multiple websites and apps for your personal and commercial client projects.

At the other end of the scale, we even offer a free WrapKit Lite version with one pre-built landing page, over a dozen interface elements and more than 25 elements. All versions are available for instant download.

WrapKit can be adapted to fit any industry and we have examples in our portfolio of designs suitable for business and corporate websites; web agencies; health and medical organizations; creative agencies, web app companies; real estate agencies; charities and non-profits; gyms and fitness centers; restaurants; industrial companies; accountancies; marketing and SEO businesses and more.

WrapKit can also be used for simple landing pages (for apps, appointments, web forms, personal projects, etc.) and one-page websites. For example, you could create a popular parallax design with background and other elements scrolling at different speeds.

You will also receive all psd files (worth over $20), and detailed documentation. Although WrapKit is designed to be easy to use with plenty of drop and drag functionality, we understand that developers may have some questions, especially in the early stages of working with it. That’s why we also offer a year of support for the product.

Stay at the cutting edge of web design and development

WrapKit was first launched in November 2017 but as all web developers know, trends and features change and evolve over time which is why WrapKit includes a lifetime offer of free updates with every download. We have recently upgraded to version 2.1 and all customers can benefit from the new elements and other features we’ve added.

All websites built from WrapKit sections and elements will be compatible with the latest browsers and fully responsive for high quality rendering on mobile devices. For those of you who have never used the Bootstrap 4 framework before, it is designed on a ‘mobile first’ basis due to the current popularity of smartphones and tablets over laptops and desktops.
